In 2024, 13.6% of Philadelphia residents—over 210,000 people—experienced food insecurity

This crisis touches every neighborhood, with the heaviest burden falling on low-income families, seniors, and communities of color. At Northwest Mutual Aid Collective, we work every day to fight this injustice and ensure healthy food is a right, not a privilege.
